Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from the sign-in provider (Google or Twitter/X). We store these in our database solely to identify you within the app.

We also store your match predictions, your total points, and which mini-leagues you belong to.

How we use it

Your data is used exclusively to run the PitchPerfect 26 prediction game — displaying your name on leaderboards, calculating your score, and showing your predictions to other players in leagues you join.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than running this game.

Third-party services

We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage. Your data is subject to Google's privacy policy when processed through Firebase.

We use football-data.org to retrieve match results. No personal data is shared with this service.

Public predictions

Your predictions and score are publicly visible on your profile page (/p/[your-id]) and on global and league leaderboards. Your email address is never displayed publicly.

Data retention

We retain your account and prediction data for the duration of the 2026 World Cup and a reasonable period afterwards. You can request deletion of your account by contacting us.
